Rose City Reporting is a family business. Alex and Emily run it together, with no investors and no outside agenda, just a commitment to the agencies we serve. We show up when we say we will. We tell you what things cost, and that's what they cost. And we hold every reporter to the same standard we hold ourselves. It's our name on every job, so we treat every job like it matters. Because it does.

MEET THE TEAM

Alex LoVerde, Co-Founder

Alex has spent 25 years in deposition services. He co-founded DepoDirect, a nationwide court reporting agency, and served as Director of Digital Services at one of the largest court reporting firms in the country. He knows every facet of the digital reporting workflow from beginning to end — capture, production, certification, and everything that goes wrong in between — because he's done all of it, several thousand depositions' worth.

He knows how to make a reporter. That's what Rose City Academy is for: building the next generation of them properly, so depositions cost attorneys and their clients less than they do today.

Emily LoVerde, Co-Founder

Emily has spent more than 15+ years in marketing, business development, and client relations. She's built brands, grown businesses, and earned long-term client trust across her career, and she brings all of it to Rose City Reporting.

She leads client relations and business development at RCR. That means she's your point of contact, and she makes sure every agency we work with gets clear answers, fast follow-through, and no surprises.

Emily also earned her AAERT Certified Electronic Reporter credential and holds an Oregon Notary Public commission. She went through the same certification process every Rose City reporter does, so she understands the job firsthand.

Gogo Rose, CCO (Chief Cutie Officer)

The heart of our family and the inspiration for all that we do. Gogo doesn't attend depositions, doesn't run Realtime, and has never once formatted a transcript — but she's been by our side since day one, and every good day at Rose City Reporting is better with her in it. She loves a donut with sprinkles, a longer park trip than planned, and a good dance party.

THE ROSE CITY DIFFERENCE

No board. No outside investors. No one telling us to raise prices or cut reporter pay to hit a number.

We don't over-optimize margin — a fair price for the agency, fair pay for the reporter, and enough left to run the company well. That's the whole model. We'd rather be the best at one thing than the biggest at everything.

Digital reporting has spent years being sold as the cheap option. It was staffed accordingly, trained barely at all, and the industry's opinion of it followed — fairly.

That's a training and standards problem, not a technology problem.
